Core Media Center Setup

This Will help you to perform Initial Setup for Media Center.

After initial setup of the computer When you click on Media Center Icon
you will find the following Screen



It will show you three options for Setup
1] Express Setup
2] Custom Setup
3] Run Setup Later

Select the first option "Custom Setup" and follow the wizard

Click on Next

Again Click On Next


To View the Privacy Statement Click on View Tab
OR Click Next


Click on Yes or No As per your choice
Click Next

Click on next again


Following are the stages of Media Center Setup

Select the 1st option for automatic configuration of TV signals

Media Center is scanning for TV signals
It will show you your Signal Configuration



Mostly the TV signal is through Cable
Select Yes and Click Next

Select Yes For Guide

Click I agree as Usual



For Checking the Accurate program guide Use the right Zip code of the area

This Will Search From Program Guide


Select Your Cable Company

Setup Will Download Program Guide


Ist Stage of Setup Finished

Select the type of display you are connecting to


Select the Type of Screen Set


Select the type of cable and port

Type of Monitor display
Normal or Wide Panel Monitor

Check the correct Resolution


You Can either adjust or Finish With the Wizard

Select the Type of Speakers You have


Test the Functionality of the speakers


Click on Finish
